1. Billing and Payments
New Customer Onboarding
Payments for one-time cleanups are due upon completion of the job.
A valid credit or debit card is required and will be securely stored for recurring billing.
Prorated Billing
After your initial cleanup, recurring service will be prorated for the remainder of the current month.
Monthly Recurring Billing
Services are billed in advance on the 1st of each month.
If payments are late, you will be subject to a $10 late fee.
If payment is not received before the first cleaning of the month, you may be removed from the service schedule.
Your monthly fee is calculated as follows:
Two times a week service: (recurring rate × 104) ÷ 12
Weekly service: (recurring rate × 52) ÷ 12
Bi-weekly service: (recurring rate × 26) ÷ 12
This formula accounts for months with 5 service weeks.
Example
John Doe signs up for $20 Tuesday cleanups on 6/9/24.
He pays $40 up front for the initial cleanup scheduled for 6/11/24.
He is then charged $40 for 6/18 and 6/25.
On 7/1/24, John is billed $86.67 to cover all Tuesday cleanups in July.
Double Doody Policy
If we cannot perform service due to weather, locked gates, or other access issues, we will remove the accumulated waste during your next scheduled visit.
You will still be billed for the missed visit, as the workload is carried forward.
Please keep your gate accessible and promptly inform us of any changes in number of pets or other details.
Price and Promotion Changes
All fees and promotions are subject to change at any time.
We will provide at least 4 weeks’ notice prior to any price change.
2. Service and Scheduling
Consistent Service Days
Your service day will remain the same each week unless otherwise notified.
Arrival Alerts
A text message will be sent before our technician arrives.
Access Requirements
Please make sure your gate is unlocked and accessible.
Aggressive or loose pets must be confined during the visit.
Pet Introductions
If your pets have not met our team and you are home during service, we welcome the opportunity for a meet-and-greet.
Missed Visits
If we are unable to access your yard due to locked gates, pets, or other obstructions, you will still be charged for that visit.
Holiday Policy
Scoop and Whoop does not provide services on the following holidays:
Memorial Day
4th of July
Good Friday
Easter Sunday
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Eve
Christmas Day
New Year’s Day
If your service falls on a holiday, service will be skipped and resumed the following week.
No refunds are issued for missed holiday service, as we will collect all waste during the subsequent visit.
24-Hour Missed Pile Policy
If a technician misses a pile, we will return within 24 hours to clean it up.
3. Cancellations and Changes
Cancelling Service
You may cancel at any time.
Cancellations made mid-cycle are non-refundable.
Services will continue through the end of the prepaid billing period unless otherwise requested.
Pausing Service
If your pet(s) will not be using the yard for a certain period (vacation, illness, etc), please let us know in advance to pause service and avoid unnecessary charges.
4. Secure Payment Portal
We provide a secure customer portal where you can:
Update billing information
View and download invoices
Track your service schedule and history
Note: Payment must be completed in advance to avoid service delays.
5. Liability Disclaimer
Scoop and Whoop is not liable for:
Minor damage to lawns, gates, or landscaping during routine service
Pet-related incidents that may arise before, during, or after service
By using our services, you release Scoop and Whoop from liability for these occurrences.
6. Acceptance of Terms
By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.
